VIETNAMESE SPRING ROLLS AT WORLD HERITAGE CUISINE SUMMIT AND FOOD FESTIVAL 2018

The World Heritage Cuisine Summit and Food Festival, which is scheduled at the historic Qila Gobindgarh in Amritsar, is being organised by the World Chefs Cultural Heritage Committee that is chaired by the legendary Chef Manjit Gill.
The festival brings together chefs from nearly 40 countries, including Armenia, Cambodia, Canada, Croatia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, Germany, Ghana, Indonesia, Italy, Kenya, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Syria, Thailand, Turkey, USA, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Vietnam and Wales, among others.
Chef Ly Kim Long, representative from Vietnam, performed traditional crispy spring rolls, brought Vietnamese flavor to introduce to international friends. The fillings of spring rolls made from crab meat, fresh shrimp which was carefully selected, combined with the Vietnamese ingredients and spices, served with fish sauce and herbs. You can feel a piece of spring rolls crunchy in your mouth. This dish is not only nutritious, but also has a traditional flavor. These Vietnamese rolls attracted the attention of global friends, media, and were praised by a great number of visitors.
This event is also a driving force for pride in Vietnamese cuisine, and the desire to bring Vietnamese food further on the map of the world cuisine.
